Atlanta 4D3N Trip (Attractions Guide) β August Edition ποΈπ‘π¬
Hereβs a recap of the amazing spots we visited during our 4-day Atlanta getaway: π‘ Lookout Mountain Inclined Railway About 2 hours from Atlanta Downtown. The mountain views are gorgeous, and the classic inclined railway photo is a must! Besides the lookout point, there isnβt much else up there. Not too cold even at the top. ββββ π Ruby Falls (Underground Waterfalls) β Right next to Lookout Mountain. This was my most anticipated stop! The experience was fantastic, and our guide was super friendly. The falls have a romantic and inspiring backstory β highly recommend learning about it. πΈ Photo 3 shows the narrow passage where trapped explorers once climbed β so cramped! βββββ πΏ Rock City Gardens Also near Lookout Mountain. Surprisingly fun and photogenic! Multiple themed gardens β my favorite was the Enchanted Trail. We went too late and had to rushβ¦ big regret π’ Still worth it! βββββ π Georgia Aquarium One of the priciest tickets Iβve bought in the U.S. (~$50+ after tax), but totally worth it! Multiple exhibits, including a massive tank with a whale shark π¦. The dolphin show made me cry β it was that moving! Also loved the sea lion show. βββββ ποΈ Ponce City Market A historic red-brick shopping mall in downtown Atlanta. Loved the rustic vibe β great for photos, food, and slow exploring. βββββ π Jusgo Market (Duluth) Duluth has a strong Korean community β so youβll find spas, authentic restaurants, and supermarkets like this one. This H-Mart has a food court and even a Japanese section. Prices are better than in North Carolina! βββββ π₯€ World of Coca-Cola The one and only Coca-Cola museum in the world! The secret formula is allegedly stored in a vault here in Atlanta. The most interactive parts: the scent room and the tasting lounge β where you can sample Coke flavors from around the globe! π₯€π βββββ π° Total spent per person: ~$400 We drove a rental car from North Carolina β easy and flexible! #Atlanta #GeorgiaAquarium #CokeMuseum #LookoutMountain #RubyFalls #InclinedRailway #TravelDiary
