Atlanta Chinese Food | La Mei Zi

After class, we headed to Atlanta for another round of Chinese food! 🏫✨ This restaurant truly captures authentic flavors—highly recommended! At first, I thought it was Sichuan cuisine from the name, but it turns out to be Taiwanese instead. 😄 The dishes here taste just like home-cooked meals back in China, and the service was genuinely warm and welcoming. 👍 We were a group of three and ordered four dishes plus soup: 🍆 Fish-fragrant Eggplant – My husband said it reminded him of his mom’s braised eggplant from childhood. Comforting and savory! 🍖 Braised Pork with Fried Tofu – As a tofu lover, I adored this! The tofu was soft and soaked up all the rich flavors. 😋 🥢 Hakka Stir-fry – This one was just okay for me—decent but not outstanding. 🥒 Luffa Soup – Also fairly standard, light and refreshing but not too memorable. 🐮 Cold Beef Tendon – A delicious appetizer! Chewy and slightly spicy, it reminded me of savory snack strips. 🌶️ Including tip, it came to about $38 per person. 💸 A helpful note: paying in cash saves you the card processing fee! We’d definitely come back—next time I want to try their chicken cutlet rice! 🍛 It reminds me of the university canteen meals I used to love. So nostalgic and satisfying! #AtlantaEats #TaiwaneseFood #ChineseCuisine #ComfortFood #FoodMemories
