Atlanta Eats & Drinks β Chinese / Thai π₯’β¨
Just tried The Pearl Chinese & Thai, a newly opened spot that might look like a typical "Western-friendly" Asian restaurant at first glance β but surprise, the food is seriously good! ππ What We Ordered: Northeast-style "Da Lap" (wide noodle salad) β refreshing, savory, and absolutely delicious. A must-try! π Stir-fried beef with peppers β tender and full of wok aroma. ππΆοΈ Spicy sour chicken gizzards β tangy, crunchy, and super appetizing. Dry pot pork intestines β crispy, spicy, and packed with flavor. π²π₯ Salted egg yolk spare ribs β rich, golden, and addictively tasty. Crispy corn cake β sweet, crispy, and a perfect finish. π½π― The owner shared that their kimchi and pickles are made in-house, which really shows in the freshness and depth of flavor. We also got to enjoy a discount through a foodie group intro, and the owner kindly gifted us homemade fermented rice wine! πΆβ€οΈ With the discount and 20% tip, our feast for six dishes came to $133 β great value for such quality and variety. Verdict: Unexpectedly authentic and full of bold flavors. Already planning to return with friends for more Northeast Chinese classics! π₯³π₯ #ThePearlChineseThai #AtlantaChinese #NortheasternFood #HouseMadeKimchi #FoodieDiscount #GroupFeast #NewRestaurant #Flavorful #HiddenGem #MustTryAtlanta
