Finally got to try Nice to Meet You Hot Pot after watching it being renovated for a while β they just opened, so of course I had to check it out! π Taste: They currently offer 50% off soup bases, so we got a split pot: spicy beef oil and tomato. The tomato broth was tasty and well-balanced, but the beef oil version was too spicy for me (and a bit salty, according to my friend). π πΆοΈ We grabbed a bunch of small plates and skewers β highlights included goose intestine, black tripe, squid sausage, and fried tofu skin. From the menu, we also ordered tender beef slices and spicy beef tongue, both of which were flavorful and satisfying. The sauce station costs around $3 per person for unlimited access β the spicy clams and chicken feet were tasty, and the beef cubes were delicious but quite chewy (not for delicate teeth!). The watermelon was surprisingly sweet β I finished three small plates of it! ππ We even packed the leftover broth and ingredients β feels like another hot pot meal is waiting tomorrow! β»οΈπ₯‘ Ambiance & Service: The space has good ventilation, so you wonβt leave smelling like hot pot. However, the A/C wasnβt very strong, so it got pretty warm as we ate. βοΈπ Service was attentive and quick throughout. Verdict: A bit on the pricier side (see receipt at the end), but the ability to take leftovers home helps balance it out.
