Atlanta Eats & Drinks – Japanese Wagyu Hot Pot Buffet 🍲🥩

The long-awaited Chubby Cattle by Mikiya is finally open — and it’s a wagyu hot pot paradise right in the same plaza as other popular eats! We chose the Gold set and were warmly greeted by a friendly hostess who patiently explained the menu. Our server was equally kind and attentive, starting us off with the limited premium items included in our package. 🌟💖 Broth & Flavors: We went with spicy miso and sukiyaki broths. The sukiyaki broth, slightly sweet and rich, paired perfectly with the high-quality wagyu dipped in raw egg — an absolute flavor explosion! 🥚✨ Highlights: A5 Wagyu (Gold set limited portion) — melt-in-your-mouth tender and intensely flavorful. Seafood platter — fresh and sweet, especially when cooked in the savory broths. Special dishes — the sweet shrimp was large and fresh (though bone marrow was sold out). Side station — spicy octopus and clams were tasty, and drinks included popular brands like Genki Forest and Ramune. Udon noodles — a must-try cooked in the wagyu-infused sukiyaki broth! 🍜💫 Ambiance & Service: Modern, clean, and lively. Service was prompt and friendly. While there’s a 90-minute limit, we were comfortably full in about an hour, leaving time to enjoy snow crab legs and mini ice cream. 🦀🍨 We also signed up for the annual membership ($28/person) — great if you plan to return! Verdict: Gold set offers a wonderful taste of everything. If you want unlimited A5, go for Diamond.
