Atlanta Eats & Drinks – Mexican / Taco 🌮🔥

Just tried takeout from Armando’s Taqueria — and here are my honest thoughts! The Beef Quesabirria was the definite star 🌟🧀 — rich, cheesy, deeply flavorful, and so satisfying that it kinda overshadowed the regular tacos I ordered. As for the other proteins: the beef tongue was overly salty, and the beef cheek didn’t quite match up to my go-to spot, El Rey Del Taco. The tripe here was tender and soft, but I personally prefer it crispy and charred. 😅🐮 It’s true what they say — sometimes the taco spot closest to home just hits different! 🏡❤️ But after trying several around town, I still find myself craving the bold, balanced flavors from El Rey Del Taco. Maybe it’s the seasoning, maybe it’s the vibe — either way, that’s still my #1. If you’re near Armando’s and want a solid quesabirria fix, it’s worth an order.
