Atlanta Eats & Drinks – Winery / Ice Cream 🍷🍦
After a busy work stretch, what’s better than a scenic winery trip? Visited Kaya Vineyard & Winery — about an hour from Duluth — with friends for a relaxed, wine-filled afternoon. At the Winery: They offer both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose the outdoor tent area, complete with a live guitarist setting the mood. 🎶⛺ The wines leaned dry, which isn’t my usual sweet-and-bubbly preference, but still enjoyable. Food options were limited but tasty. 🧀🍇 Pet-friendly note: Dogs are allowed but only in the tent area, not indoors. By the end, both pups and people were a bit chilly! 🐕❄️ Sweet Detour: On the drive back, we stopped at Mountain Fresh Creamery. Their vanilla milkshake was creamy, dreamy, and absolutely worth the stop! 🥤💛 The little shop also sells local milk, eggs, and handmade candles — a cute, countryside vibe. Verdict: A perfect weekend combo — scenic sips at Kaya and a sweet treat on the way home. Ideal for a laid-back day trip with friends, furry ones included! 😌🌄 #KayaVineyard #WineryTrip #AtlantaWinery #MountainFreshCreamery #Milkshake #WeekendGetaway #PetFriendly #LiveMusic #ScenicViews #RelaxingDay
