📍 Atlanta Eats | Northern-Style Charcoal Skewers 🍢
Restaurant: 6688 Charcoal BBQ Visited on the last day of their promotion—unfortunately, we arrived too late, so many items were sold out. The photo set isn’t complete, but you can check the receipt for what we ordered! 🧾 Flavor: Tastes pretty good—authentic Northern Chinese-style bold and very salty (definitely on the heavier side!). My favorite was the lamb skewers—grilled just right, tender with no gaminess. 🐑✨ The squid skewers were also great—no fishy taste, and super tender. That said, some skewers were over-seasoned and too salty—spices were generous, maybe a bit too much for my taste. Ambience: Feels like they kept the decor from the previous maocai (spicy pot) spot—not much has changed. Service: Friendly and helpful! When some skewers arrived cold, they willingly reheated them. You can tell they’re super busy though—grilling takes time, so our meal lasted over two hours. Understandable since they just opened. Many items we wanted were already sold out—will have to come back another time to try more! 🔙 6688 Charcoal BBQ 📍 Atlanta area #6688CharcoalBBQ #AtlantaBBQ #NorthernSkewers #ChineseGrill #LambSkewers #SquidSkewers #SaltyButGood #AtlantaEats #FoodReview #JustOpened #BusyNight #LateNightEats #SkewerLover #ComeBackSoon #AtlantaFoodie
