Atlanta First-Timer's Guide: Eat, Play & Explore! πβ¨
Spent my Independence Day weekend in Atlanta and totally felt the Southern warmth and charm β so different from NYC vibes! π π‘ Must-Do Attractions β CityPASS is a must for first-timers! It includes: Georgia Aquarium π World of Coca-Cola π₯€ Zoo Atlanta πΌ 2 more attractions of your choice β saves $$ compared to single tickets! π Georgia Aquarium Largest aquarium in North America! Donβt miss the adorable otters, belugas, and dolphin/seal shows π¬ (book in advance via their website!). Sit in the middle/back rows if you donβt want to get wet π¦ π₯€ World of Coca-Cola A paradise for Coke lovers! Learn about its history and taste Coke products from around the world. Right next to the aquarium β perfect combo visit! β² Centennial Olympic Park Built for the 1996 Olympics β home to the Ring Fountain, Olympic rings, and a Ferris wheel π‘. Great for a quick photo stop! π¨ Atlanta Marriott Marquis Architecture lovers will gasp! The futuristic lobby and lightning-fast elevators (47 floors in <30 sec!) feel like The Hunger Games or Rocky π₯. Also check out Hyatt Regency nearby! πΌ Zoo Atlanta Meet the pandas!! πΌ Also feed giraffes and pet alpacas π¦. Compact but fun β can be explored in 2 hours. ποΈ Ponce City Market A massive industrial-chic mall with tons of eateries and shops. The rooftop park (The BeltLine) has great views. We tried 6 food spots here β no regrets! π¨ Krog Street Market & Tunnel Another artsy district with food + shops. The graffiti-covered Krog Tunnel feels gritty but photogenic. The nearby park is worth a stroll. π³ Atlanta Botanical Garden They had an Alice in Wonderland exhibit when I visited β heard itβs way better than NYCβs! Sadly, I ran out of time π’ #TravelUSA #Atlanta #GeorgiaAquarium #CocaColaWorld #SouthernCharm #FoodAndFun
