Atlanta Food Review | Chubby Cattle Dunwoody

Update 12.20: The menu has changed—seafood options are mostly gone, and selections of meats and appetizers have been reduced. It’s now similar to other locations and less worth recommending. Below is my review from its grand opening in September. As a pet blogger who pays for my own meals, I’ve tried two BBQ spots under the same group in Atlanta and was disappointed. Wagyu House’s grill isn’t charcoal-fired ❌, and Chubby Cattle BBQ Duluth had too few choices. Although Chubby Cattle Shabu offers decent quality, I wasn’t expecting much from their new Dunwoody location. Surprisingly, the variety here impressed me! 🎉 A5 wagyu and crab legs (originally king crab, now snow crab based on reviews) are all-you-can-eat, with only a few premium A5 dishes costing extra. The 90-minute limit is sufficient for two. Weekend prices are $69.9 (non-members) or $59.9 (members), with members also getting a complimentary premium A5 wagyu dish. The dessert selection was my favorite—each item was delicious, especially the croissant egg tart, arguably the best in town! 🥧 Other highlights include hot dishes and fresh crawfish. Meat options are abundant, though one A5 variety often runs out and restocking is slow. Fruits are fresh and sweet. 🍉 Our server Leah provided excellent service, but due to opening-week chaos, our tom yum soup never arrived. 😅 Overall, this visit was a pleasant surprise! If they maintain this quality, variety, and pricing, I’ll definitely return! 👍 Chubby Cattle Dunwoody 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Rd space 3015, Atlanta, GA 30346 #AtlantaEats #AtlantaFood #ChubbyCattle #FoodReview #AtlantaLife #Foodie
