Stayed 10 days across ATL this year β hereβs my real take: β Thompson Buckhead Love this spot! Walkable to Buckhead Village ποΈ, chic lobby, spacious rooms with large showers & double sinks. Front desk kept us hydrated π§ β super friendly. Street parking available nearby! β Intercontinental Buckhead Upscale vibe near Lenox Square. Byredo toiletries π§΄, nice views, clean pool π. Rooms & lobby both classy. β Ritz Carlton Atlanta Meh. On Peachtree but surrounded by unhoused folks ποΈ. Check-in staff was rude β double-charged my card π³! Valet/doormen were kind, though. Upside: close to airport βοΈ, Diptyque peach toiletries π were divine. β Westin Atlanta Airport Skip it! Noisy AC, housekeeping chats loudly at 7 AM π£οΈ, walls are thin. Someone tried opening my door at 6 AM β thank goodness for the door blocker πͺ! Worn bedding with holes, room-service fish tacos were inedible ππ¦.
