Atlanta Marriott Marquis: A Filming Site of The Hunger Games 🎬

Just before leaving Atlanta, I visited the iconic Atlanta Marriott Marquis hotel. This building served as the "Tribute Training Center" in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The futuristic and imposing interior scenes of the Capitol were filmed in its stunning atrium—soaring 143 meters high with sweeping curved balconies. 🏨 Hotel Highlights ✨ Architectural Marvel: Designed by famed architect John Portman in 1985, the 47-story atrium is visually breathtaking. ✨ Rooms & Amenities: Over 1,600 rooms, plus an on-site Starbucks, restaurants, bars, indoor/outdoor pools, and a fitness center. ✨ Prime Location: Situated in downtown Atlanta, it’s within walking distance to major attractions: • World of Coca-Cola (~610 m) • Georgia Aquarium (~870 m) • Centennial Olympic Park (~711 m) • CNN Center (~930 m) With affordable rates, it’s definitely worth a visit—whether you're a film fan or just love impressive architecture! 📍 #HungerGames #AtlantaMarriott #FilmLocations #AtlantaTravel #ArchitectureLovers #DowntownAtlanta #TravelUSA
