Atlanta Review|YAO 🍜✨
It’s been a while since my last food review, but this visit was worth the wait! YAO brings a charming retro Hong Kong–inspired vibe to Thai–Chinese fusion, with playful décor that’s both nostalgic and stylish. The menu is perfect for sharing—entrée portions are modest, making it ideal for tasting a bit of everything. We tried almost the whole menu and didn’t have a single miss! 🌟 Highlights: 🍠 Taro Rolls (Appetizer) — Crispy, savory, and perfectly seasoned. 🦀 Crab Fried Rice — Fragrant, well-balanced, and packed with flavor. 🍗 Khoa Soi Gai — A tender braised chicken leg served in a rich, aromatic curry broth—as delicious as it is photogenic! 🍨 Desserts We sampled all three on the menu, but they were just okay. The “special effects” ice cream is fun for photos, though flavor-wise it didn’t stand out. Overall, YAO is a delightful spot for a stylish, flavor-packed meal in a unique setting. Great for dates, small groups, or when you’re craving something different! #ATL #Atlanta #ThaiFusion #AsianCuisine #RetroVibes #HongKongStyle #FoodieShare #MustTry #AtlantaEats #YAO #ShareablePlates
