Atlanta The Genius Combo of Roasted Intestine &Eel with Soybean Powder
Last month, I went with friends to try a Korean-style grilled offal restaurant — and wow, what a discovery! 🎉 As a total offal lover, I’ve never thought of pairing grilled meat with soybean powder before, but the result was incredibly tasty 😋✨. The slightly sweet, nutty aroma of the soybean powder perfectly balanced the rich, savory flavors of the grilled intestines. Compared to other spots like Copchang on Fire, I felt the ingredients here were fresher and better prepared. The beef tartare, mixed with crisp Asian pear strips, was tender, fresh, and not the slightest bit gamey 🥩🍐. Their spicy chicken feet were another standout — fiery, flavorful, and totally addictive! We kept chatting and munching without even noticing how much we’d eaten 🌶️👯. What’s more, the grill setup here was impressively smokeless. I even brought my baby along, and the environment felt completely comfortable (sorry kiddo — mom just couldn’t resist the craving! 😅). The grilled eel was good — though not quite as springy and succulent as what I’ve had in Savannah — but hey, no complaints here! Being able to enjoy tasty eel in Atlanta already feels like a win 😂. This place is called Hwasong Gopchang, and while it may not be the most hyped spot in town, it’s definitely somewhere I’ll return to 🏼. Here’s hoping they keep up the amazing quality! #LocalEats #AtlantaFoodie #KoreanBBQ #OffalLovers #HiddenGem #MustTryAtlanta #FoodDiscovery #GrilledGoodness #AtlantaEats #SoybeanPowderMagic
