šŸµ Attention Matcha Lovers! šŸµ

I recently discovered a super cute dessert spot perfect for matcha enthusiasts – Matcha Ren! Their matcha soft serve is incredibly rich and aromatic—though since I’m lactose intolerant, I had to hold myself back from eating too much. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to stop! šŸ˜… šŸ“ Vibe & Location: This shop is located in LA’s Arts District—a really unique spot right next to YiFang Fruit Tea. It almost feels like a shared space (one side for drinks, the other for matcha desserts). The atmosphere is artsy and fresh ~ 🌿 šŸ¦ Must-Try Desserts: • Matcha Soft Serve: Strong matcha flavor at first, but gets a bit sweeter toward the end. • Matcha Mochi Strawberry Daifuku: I didn’t expect much, but it was a delicious surprise! Fresh strawberries with a sweet-and-sour kick, paired with soft mochi—absolutely no regrets! Plus, it’s one of the few desserts without cream, so it’s more lactose-intolerant-friendly. 🚻 Restroom Notes: The store has a restroom—just ask staff for the password. It’s spacious and wheelchair-accessible, but the door is seriously heavy (made me miss Japan’s automatic doors šŸ˜‚). Clean and well-maintained, though! I also visited their Arcadia branch at Santa Anita Mall (right next to Uncle Tetsu). Besides soft serve, I tried their Matcha Mont Blanc. The strip on top looks like ice cream but is actually a sweet potato/purple yam mash with matcha—quite sweet, so it’s best eaten together with the matcha ice cream below. ✨ Final Thoughts: Matcha Ren is a nice little matcha dessert shop—great for satisfying a sudden matcha craving if you’re nearby! But I wouldn’t travel super far just for it. šŸ  Locations: Matcha Ren Arcadia šŸ“ 400 S Baldwin Ave, Arcadia, CA 91007 Matcha Ren Los Angeles (Arts District) šŸ“ 950 E 3rd St Unit 2A, Los Angeles, CA 90013 Have you been to Matcha Ren?
