Auckland Fish Market Night Market – Open Every Sunday!

I first visited this night market back in July when I was new to New Zealand and desperately missing China's vibrant nightlife. Strolling along the waterfront one evening, I stumbled upon this market and nearly cried—it was packed with familiar Asian street foods! I ended up going three or four times, but at one point, I thought it had closed because I didn’t realize it only runs every Sunday. Recently, I checked the details and confirmed it’s open Sundays from 2 PM to 9 PM, so I made sure to revisit this weekend! Must-Try Foods 🍽️ 🍢 Takoyaki (Octopus Balls), Korean Fried Chicken, Spicy Rice Cakes, Odeng (Korean Oden) 🥟 Cantonese Dim Sum, Crystal Shrimp Dumplings, Steamed Pork & Shrimp Siu Mai, Pan-Fried Buns 🍖 Northeast Chinese BBQ, Spicy Grilled Squid, Garlic Pork Belly, Cumin Lamb Skewers 🍛 Southeast Asian Fried Rice, Indonesian Noodles, Thai Curry Rice, Indian Curry Hidden Gem: The Indian Fruit Stall! 🍍 This time, I have to highlight an Indian vendor’s fruit stand—the quality is amazing, and the prices are unbeatable: 🍒 Cherries (usually $$$ in stores) – just $6 per box 🍉 Whole watermelon (vs. $5/kg at supermarkets) – only $8 🫐 Jumbo blueberries – $3 per box With deals like these, I’ll be coming every Sunday just for the fruit haul! 📍 Location: Opposite the Auckland Fish Market (walkable from the city via the pedestrian bridge) ⏰ Hours: Every Sunday, 2 PM – 9 PM #AucklandNightMarket #AucklandFood #AucklandWaterfront #AucklandEats #NZFoodFinds
