Autumn in Aspen is Arriving β A Peek at This Yearβs Colors! ππ
Hey leaf-peepers! Just wanted to share a quick update from my trip to Aspen this fall β especially for those planning a visit soon πβ¨. On the morning of September 22, I headed to Maroon Bells β and wow, it did not disappoint! ποΈ The aspen groves are definitely turning, with brilliant golds and soft yellows beginning to glow across the mountainsides π‘β¨. That said, Iβd say the real peak is likely still about a week away β so if youβre coming around the end of September or early October, youβre probably in for an absolute spectacle! ππ The second photo was taken the same day from Smuggler Mountain Road π₯ΎπΈ. From there, you get a gorgeous panoramic view of Aspen nestled among the hills. While you can already see touches of gold here and there, the valley is still mostly green β so thereβs plenty of beauty yet to unfold πΏβπ. A few tips if youβre visiting soon: π Book shuttle tickets or parking in advance β Maroon Bells access is limited during peak season! π Mornings are magical β soft light, calm lakes, and fewer crowds. π§₯ Dress in layers β itβs chilly early but warms up quickly. π Donβt skip Smuggler β even if the color isnβt full yet, the view over town is so worth it. Whether you're a photographer, a hiker, or just someone who loves the quiet beauty of fall β nowβs a great time to start planning your Aspen escape π β€οΈ. Canβt wait to see this place in full golden glory! Let me know if youβve been recently β Iβd love to hear how the colors are changing where you are π£οΈπ. #Aspen #MaroonBells #FallColors #LeafPeeping #ColoradoFall #AutumnVibes #VisitAspen #NaturePhotography ππΈποΈ
