Autumn in Aspen is Arriving โ A Peek at This Yearโs Colors! ๐๐
Hey leaf-peepers! Just wanted to share a quick update from my trip to Aspen this fall โ especially for those planning a visit soon ๐โจ. On the morning of September 22, I headed to Maroon Bells โ and wow, it did not disappoint! ๐๏ธ The aspen groves are definitely turning, with brilliant golds and soft yellows beginning to glow across the mountainsides ๐กโจ. That said, Iโd say the real peak is likely still about a week away โ so if youโre coming around the end of September or early October, youโre probably in for an absolute spectacle! ๐๐ The second photo was taken the same day from Smuggler Mountain Road ๐ฅพ๐ธ. From there, you get a gorgeous panoramic view of Aspen nestled among the hills. While you can already see touches of gold here and there, the valley is still mostly green โ so thereโs plenty of beauty yet to unfold ๐ฟโ๐. A few tips if youโre visiting soon: ๐ Book shuttle tickets or parking in advance โ Maroon Bells access is limited during peak season! ๐ Mornings are magical โ soft light, calm lakes, and fewer crowds. ๐งฅ Dress in layers โ itโs chilly early but warms up quickly. ๐ Donโt skip Smuggler โ even if the color isnโt full yet, the view over town is so worth it. Whether you're a photographer, a hiker, or just someone who loves the quiet beauty of fall โ nowโs a great time to start planning your Aspen escape ๐ โค๏ธ. Canโt wait to see this place in full golden glory! Let me know if youโve been recently โ Iโd love to hear how the colors are changing where you are ๐ฃ๏ธ๐. #Aspen #MaroonBells #FallColors #LeafPeeping #ColoradoFall #AutumnVibes #VisitAspen #NaturePhotography ๐๐ธ๐๏ธ
