π Baltimore Food | Yo Cafe Review
This was my fourth time visiting Yo Cafe β Iβd previously tried their snacks, but this time I decided to explore their stir-fried dishes! π₯ Snacks Rating: πππ What Iβve tried before: Youtiao & Soy Milk π₯: Standard, nothing special. Roujiamo (Pork/Lamb Burger) π: Tasty! Recommended. Pork Guotie (Pan-Fried Dumplings) π₯: Flavorful β also recommended! Pork & Cabbage Baozi π₯ : Not great β the dough was too thick. Sanxian Dumplings π₯: Unfortunately, they were served cold and undercooked last time π£ β led to an upset stomach. Not recommended. Zha Jiang Mian (Noodles) π: Sauce was too sparse β noodles were dry. Skip it! Huimian (Stewed Noodles) : Tried it a while ago β was decent from what I remember. π² Stir-Fry Dishes: πππ What we ordered this time: Crispy Pork & Vegetable Stew: Okay but mild β more tofu puff than meat. Green Pepper with Tofu Skin : The best of the three! Simple homestyle taste π. Northeast Braised Eggplant : Too heavy on the fermented bean sauce β overpowering and not to our liking. π° Price: ππππ Around $20 per person for three dishes β reasonable, but overall, the value isnβt as strong as Kung Fu 12 across the street. Final Thoughts: Yo Cafe has some hits (roujiamo, guotie) and some misses (baozi, dumplings, saucy eggplant). Itβs a casual spot with fair prices, but if youβre looking for more flavorful and consistent Chinese stir-fries, you might want to compare with nearby options. #BaltimoreEats #YoCafe #ChineseFood #DMVFood #FoodReview
