๐จ Baltimore Food Review | Nanami Cafe โ A Disappointing Experience
We originally planned to eat at Broadway Hotpot, but it was closed until the 19th ๐ . So we decided to try Nanami Cafe, a Japanese restaurant run by Vietnamese owners near the harbor. Sadly, it was a major letdown. Hereโs why: ๐ Address: Next to the lobster roll stand in the Inner Harbor area ๐ข Food Review: Takoyaki (Octopus Balls): Small-sized, decent taste โ but nothing special. Teriyaki Beef: A tough, overcooked steak drowned in teriyaki sauce. So chewy it hurt my teeth! ๐ Beef Yakisoba: Basically instant noodles with a few slices of dry beef โ not worth $20. Youโre better off making this at home. ๐ Service: The younger waiter was polite, but the manager was unprofessional. They didnโt ask if we wanted separate checks โ and when we requested it, they said we shouldโve asked earlier. The staff rarely checked on us but cleared plates quickly. When we questioned their service, they became defensive and rude. ๐ฐ Price & Value: Overpriced for low-quality ingredients. A friend spent $95 on a combo and said the sashimi was cheap and tasteless. Youโre better off going to an AYCE sushi spot! ๐ซ Final Verdict: Skip this place! If youโre near the harbor, just walk next door for a lobster roll ๐ฆ or try another restaurant. #BaltimoreEats #FoodFail #SkipThisPlace #NanamiCafe #JHU #FoodReview
