Barcelona: If You Can’t Get the Top Spot, Come Dine Here! 🍽️
I’ve been back for half a month and I still miss this place. Let me fill you in with an xhs report; it’s the second-favorite restaurant from my entire trip to Spain 🍴 It’s hard to believe that the 2024 top-rated Disfrutar is already booked until next year, so after looking around, I decided to try their other establishment → Compartir! How can someone be so 🐷 and order eight dishes for one meal? 🦀 The crab is as smooth as mousse, with layers upon layers in every spoonful. 🐟 The tuna rolls are even more substantial than at a Japanese restaurant. 🥩 The meat wrapped around foie gras melts in your mouth like ice cream. 🐂 By the time I got to the beef tartare with a runny egg, I was already full. 🍡 Fried meatballs paired with refreshing cucumber 🥒 The clams are presented so beautifully and have a sweet taste (paired with nuts 🌰 which I don’t fully understand, but the dish is delicious). 🐖 The roasted pork is so tender it’s about to surpass char siu in my heart (but the accompanying pistachio sauce is also a bit puzzling). 🦆 The final duck dish really reminded me of a dry pot, especially when I discovered it was laid over cabbage 🥬 #Barcelona #Spain #Michelin #DiningReport #BarcelonaFood #GlobalEatingSquad #UniqueCreativeCuisine
