Barcelona’s Tibidabo Mountain 🏔️ Perfect for sunset and night views
The spot for life’s picture-perfect moments 📷✨ After a day trip from Blanes and Tossa, we found Parc Güell temporarily closed, so we headed straight to our next destination, Tibidabo Mountain. We accidentally experienced the full sunset and wind so strong it gave us headaches 💨 You can park your car in a parking lot about 50 meters below the summit. Walk up 50 meters and you’ll reach the viewing platform by the amusement park. Another 20 meters up is the viewing platform at the entrance of the Temple of the Sacred Heart. Both levels offer panoramic views of Barcelona. You can even see the Sagrada Familia in the distance (it’s huge) ➡️ Experiencing every color of the sunset 🌅 was absolutely perfect 👌 The color changes can last for about an hour. The Apple Weather app said sunset was at 17:25 in November, but it lasted until 18:20, turning all red, followed by the city lights at night 🌃 The Temple of the Sacred Heart at the top is free to visit ➡️ You can also go to the top for the classic photo spot (just buy a ticket and take the elevator next to it). The wind on the mountain is really strong, making it hard to stand steady. The platform at the entrance of the church has railings that aren’t very high, so you still need to be careful. The top of the church sometimes closes early due to strong winds. When we first arrived, the angle of this coastal city felt familiar, maybe like Kobe’s “10 million dollar night view” hype. But looking up, Barcelona has such a high housing density… Add the lucky sunset we witnessed, and it could definitely be considered a “100 million dollar night view” 🌃 #Barcelona #BarcelonaTravel #BarcelonaSunset #TibidaboMountain #TibidaboSunset #BarcelonaSurroundings #BarcelonaPanorama #Spain
