Barcelona Food Recommendations
I highly recommend this restaurant, Gaudi, with a rating of ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. The restaurant is located on the street where you queue to enter Casa Milà. Their seafood paella is the best I've had in Spain, no exceptions. The saltiness is just right, the kitchen is open and visible, and the rice is not too hard or undercooked. It perfectly suits my taste. We happened to pass by after visiting Casa Milà, and I was attracted by the open kitchen. Then, seeing a table outside finishing their meal and scraping their plates, I couldn't resist asking if it was delicious. After getting a positive response, we decided to dine in, much to the surprise of my friends. But this seafood paella truly received unanimous praise from us. The seafood paella is served in sets of two, and for three people, two orders plus some side dishes were just right. I forgot to take a photo of our empty plates, but we were really full. The side dishes were decent, but the seafood paella was exceptional. Some say that this place charges a service fee and makes mistakes in the bill, which we didn't encounter, but I'd like to remind everyone to be cautious. The cost per person is around 30-40 euros, depending on what you order. Next up is the popular restaurant Vinitus, with a rating of ⭐⭐⭐. This is a restaurant I visited again in Barcelona after two years. The three stars are because they have foie gras tapas, and the shrimp skewers are also delicious. However, some friends couldn't get used to their foie gras, as it's too fatty and a bit fishy, which is understandable, although I love it. Don't order the seafood paella; it tastes like soy sauce rice? It's not good and too salty. I also tried the honey codfish once before, and it felt like the sauce was separate from the fish. The sauce was tasty, but the combination was a bit odd. I still recommend the shrimp skewers. They're delicious and not a bad choice. It's not a must-visit, though. #Barcelona #BarcelonaRestaurants #FoodRecommendations #BarcelonaFood #CasaMilà #BarcelonaBar #Spain #BarcelonaSeafoodPaella
