Bay Area Eats · Campbell's Seafood Clam Ramen at Hinodeya 🍜

Went to a garage sale in Campbell last weekend and discovered a pretty famous ramen spot called Hinodeya! 🏮 They have several locations in San Francisco and around the Bay Area, so I knew I had to try it. Hinodeya specializes in dashi-based ramen—a lighter, refined broth that really sets it apart. It’s said to be the first overseas location of a family-run restaurant group from Japan, and you can tell—the craftsmanship feels delicate and thoughtful. 👨👩👧👦✨ 🍜 Hamaguri Ramen (Clam Ramen) A seafood-based ramen that’s not too common—the broth is savory and sweet but not heavy, with thin, chewy noodles. The clams were super clean—no sand at all—and there were so many, I couldn’t even finish them all! 🐚 We also ordered the Cheese Tonkotsu Ramen—the cheese pull was amazing 🧀, and the pork bone broth was rich yet not overwhelming. You can customize the spice level—I got medium spicy, but as someone from Chengdu, I could’ve gone hotter 😆🌶️ 🐙 The Takoyaki was super authentic too—each ball had a generous piece of octopus inside! The restaurant was clean and cozy, and service was relaxed but attentive. Highly recommend if you love dashi broth or seafood ramen! 🙌 #LocalFoodRecommendation #Ramen #BayAreaFood #SeafoodRamen #ClamRamen #ClamBroth #BayAreaExplorer #California #Campbell #ChineseLifeInUSA #NoodleLover #JapaneseRamen #BayAreaEats #CampbellEats #BayAreaLife
