Beautiful Dishes at MeeshMeesh in Louisville 🍽️🌸

My lucky coworker snagged a last-minute reservation for the chef’s tasting menu at MeeshMeesh — a Mediterranean restaurant in Louisville that’s usually booked out for months! And I got to tag along for this gorgeous meal 😍. The name “Meesh” likely comes from the Arabic word “Mish” (apricot 🍑). The chef here is even a 2025 James Beard Award semifinalist! When my friends were freaking out about scoring the reservation, I have to admit… I was a little skeptical 🙄. “What do Americans know about real food?” I thought. Well, I was wrong — happily wrong! The restaurant is beautifully decorated 🖼️, the tableware is elegant, the vibe is inviting, and the service is warm and energetic. Everyone was dressed so nicely, too! 👗✨ The standout dishes were the roasted cauliflower and the lamb — absolutely incredible. The various dips were also delicious 😋. When that little jar of veggie dip came out, it reminded me of the “Great Harvest” platter from back home. I told my friends while dipping scallions in hummus: “Where I’m from, scallions grow taller than me — we even have annual scallion competitions!” They thought I was making it up 😂. The mocktails were so refreshing — I was floating on happiness without a drop of alcohol 🍹💫. What a perfect Friday night!
