Beautiful Meals in Columbus 🍽️✨

Beautiful Meals in Columbus 🍽️✨ With graduation behind me, I’ve started counting down the days until I leave Columbus. Unconsciously, I’ve celebrated with so many meals around the city—most of them at places with great ambiance and delicious food, perfect for dates or gatherings with friends! 1⃣️ SoCal Kitchen A beautiful restaurant on High St.—I celebrated both graduation and my birthday here. Scallops and oysters are their signature dishes 🌟. The tacos and steak are also great—the cauliflower in the scallop dish was a surprising highlight. (Cocktails were disappointing though 🫤) 2⃣️ Lindey’s A fine dining spot ideal for dates 💑. My friend swears by their lamb chops and steak, but I rebelliously ordered the halibut—it was impossible to go wrong. The crème brûlée was a classic win. 3⃣️ La Tavola An Italian restaurant 🍝. After trying mushroom, duck, and Bolognese pasta, I’d say the Bolognese was the best. The home salad was refreshing (no photo though 😅). The cake was okay, and the gelato was just average. 4⃣️ The Pearl Another fine dining gem on High St.—great for dates. The Thai mussels were delicious (I love anything Thai-inspired!). The scallops were, again, impossible to mess up (though personally, I prefer SoCal Kitchen and Barcelona’s versions). Their pies are quite sweet—try the brown sugar pie if you have a sweet tooth. It’s so rich it might just fuel you all the way back to China! 🥧✈️ 5⃣️ Tupelo Honey Southern-style brunch 🍗🥗. Their sweet and spicy fried chicken and salads hit all the right notes. 6⃣️ Gallo’s Tap Room A bar and kitchen open until midnight 🍻—home of the BEST wings! It’s right next to Taylor House, but I only tried it after moving out. 7⃣️ La Chatelaine French-style brunch 🥐🐌. Must-tries: French onion soup, escargots, and their bakery! The éclair with hazelnut cream was perfectly balanced—not too sweet. The palmier (butterfly pastry) was delicious even after my cat knocked it off the table 😼. (A friend from Shanghai bluntly said: “Better than International Hotel!”) It’s a shame I only went on my last day—I was too full to try all the desserts, but the fruit tart and Napoleon looked absolutely divine. 8⃣️ Kura Revolving Sushi A budget-friendly revolving sushi bar at Polaris 🍣—a long-time Columbus favorite. 9⃣️ Yoshi’s Japanese Restaurant Solid Japanese food—I forgot to take photos, but it was a good experience overall! These last two months, I’ve explored more of Columbus than in the past two years combined. I know I’m going to miss this place. 💙 #ColumbusEats #OSU #DateNightRestaurants 🎓🍷
