Beef Wellington, Lamb Chops, and Sea Bass, We Want It All 🥰
It’s been tough recently with posts being reviewed repeatedly… even travel guides have been through two or three reviews. Let’s try sharing some food instead. I chose an American steakhouse 📍Mooo…Burlington (such a cute name) for my birthday dinner this year. It was delicious, the service was great, and there’s really no fault except for the price. It’s a great place to celebrate something special! 🍹 I had “pigs can fly” and “forbidden autumn,” both were very tasty, strong in alcohol but not sweet. My husband ordered a Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand, it was easy to drink and soft, but then we checked the price: a glass was more expensive than a bottle from Total Wine hhh 🥘 For appetizers, we had beef tartare with egg and sauce, Spanish octopus, and a farm mushroom stew. The bread with the beef tartare was too hard! But the little bread that came with it was incredibly delicious!! We had two plates of the little bread! The octopus with the vegetables was a perfect non-greasy combination, and the mushrooms were amazing!!! 🥩 For the main course, we ordered Beef Wellington, Australian lamb chops, and a pan-seared sea bass branzino. Unexpectedly, the sea bass was the most impressive! The fragrant, soft fish meat with the crispy, burnt skin was fantastic. The foie gras in the Beef Wellington was very aromatic. The surprise at the birthday restaurant was having “Happy Birthday” printed on the menu, and it seems you can add a name if you call in advance. In the end, they gave us three chocolates. 💰 Including drinks, tax, and tip, the average cost per person was $135 (we were very full… and took half of the main course home) #BostonLife #BostonFood #BostonRestaurantRecommendations #BostonDateNight #BostonBirthdayDining #BostonAtmosphericRestaurant #BostonSteakhouse #BostonDinner #BostonFoodAndFun #BostonBurlington
