🌴 Behind a Wooden Door Lies a Century-Old California Plaza
Three years ago, when my bestie celebrated their birthday, we had dinner at The Cellar—a famous underground French restaurant in Fullerton. The plaza where it’s located, along with the surrounding area, is the heart of this charming city: cozy, full of character, and packed with delightful surprises. Built over a hundred years ago, this plaza retains its original architectural beauty. With its red-tiled roofs, swaying palm trees, and stunning sunset skies, it’s a true visual treat. 🌇🌴 While it’s not as crowded as other popular spots, it preserves a classical elegance that feels both timeless and intimate—a rare find in today’s increasingly commercialized neighborhoods. The perfect way to enjoy it? Grab brunch on a sunny day and spend 10-15 minutes strolling around, taking photos, and soaking in the vibe. This time, we used our New Year’s gift—a gift card from 🍙 Fantuan—to order our favorite Taiwanese takeout and have a little picnic right here. Think delicious street snacks, sweet treats, and boba, all enjoyed under a gorgeous California sunset. Pure bliss! 🧋💖 Here’s to hoping that in the new year, we all get to share many more meals with the people we love. 😘 📍 The Villa Del Sol 305 N Harbor Blvd, Fullerton, CA 92832 🅿️ Paid parking lots and street parking available nearby ⚠️ Commercial photography requires a permit Have you discovered any hidden plazas or historic spots in Orange County?
