The golden mosaic artwork and immense sense of space amplify the divine atmosphere to an incredible degree. š National Museum of Serbia One of the largest and oldest museums in the Balkans. Ground floor: A paradise for artifact lovers, filled with ancient objects that tell historical tales. Second floor: An overwhelming collection of paintingsāMonet, Picasso, Van Gogh, Gauguin, and many lesser-known masters. You could easily spend an entire day here! š Kalemegdan Fortress A historic fortress where the Sava and Danube Rivers meet. Standing atop the fortress, you can witness the breathtaking confluence of the two rivers.
