Between Us | This Brunch Spot Must Have Been Designed by a Pro

There are so many great brunch spots around North Park, and I finally visited this one based on a recommendation. We didn’t have to wait for a table, but finding parking took forever! 🚗💨 We ordered the Simple Toast Plus Matcha Cream & Berries🍞. The toast was crispy and warm, topped with matcha cream and fresh berries—a perfect balance of sweet and tangy. For just $10, it was totally worth it! 🫐💚 The Mushroom Chazuke was a showstopper 🍄‍🟫! It reminded me of Chinese-style soup rice—savory and light, not heavy like risotto. The broth was poured table-side, and the roasted mushrooms added a nice crispy texture. So comforting and delicious! 🍚✨ For drinks, we got the Black Sesame Latte and the Matcha Tiramisu🍹. The sesame latte was rich and not too sweet—highly recommend! The matcha drink, although popular, was a bit too sweet for my taste. The whole meal came out to just over $40—great value for the quality and portions.
