Big Cat Rescue near Madison 🐅

📍 Address: Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue Home to numerous lions and tigers!! 🦁🐯 Including the incredibly rare Liliger—only 18 left in the world—as well as servals and lynxes. Some tigers are still very wild and will stalk the keepers from inside their enclosures, following you as you walk by. Others are like big house cats, begging for cuddles and affection 😻. During the tour, you can watch them eat up close and experience the roar of a lion or tiger—it truly sounds like a revving engine! 🚗💨 The rescue is located on a hilltop with a peaceful ranch-like setting—the morning sunlight there is absolutely beautiful! 🌄 They also offer cozy cabins for two or four people, so you can stay overnight right at the rescue. It’s only a 30-minute drive from the Dells and about an hour from Madison. You can explore on your own or book their feeding tour. Self-guided visits are $10 per person (donation basis), while the feeding tour is $25 per person. 🎫 The feeding tour usually starts at 9 AM and requires booking one day in advance—only 20 spots available each day! After visiting, we also went to the Dells and enjoyed the wildlife safari, rode the mountain coaster 🎢, and went trout fishing at B&H Trout Fishing 🎣—we caught a rainbow trout and made spicy chopped fish with it! 🌶️🐟 Perfect for a weekend day trip—packed with fun from start to finish! #Madison #AroundMadison #UWMadison #MadisonExploration
