Bordeaux French Cuisine Recommendation: Melodie 🍽️

I saw this place recommended by bloggers online and noticed on their official website that they don't accept reservations for single diners. So I just walked in. It was still super delicious! I think it was the best French meal I've had in France. 😭😭😭 At least this time, both I and my camera were satisfied (usually it's just the camera that gets "full"). Entrée: Salmon with salad. The salmon was a bit salty and not as good as Norwegian salmon (no duh), but it was still pretty tasty, and the portion wasn't small at all. 🍖 Main Course: Beef. It was stewed beef, OMG so good, and the mashed potatoes were amazing. The beef was super tender, just melt-in-your-mouth with a bit of pepper and salt. Perfect. By this point, I was already full... The bowl was huge. 🍖 Dessert: Apple pie. This apple pie felt like it had fresh apples, dried apples, and canned apples. It came with three types of cream. It seemed freshly made and was still warm when served—I've never had a warm apple pie before. 🥧 Wine: With the mindset of having to try some wine in Bordeaux, I ordered a glass of rosé. At 17% alcohol, it got me a bit tipsy. 🍷 The set menu was 23€, which is a pretty good price for trying both the salmon and the beef! 🍔 I didn't dare to call the waiter, so I just finished eating and made eye contact with the staff. 🥺 In the end, I told them that this place has great reviews on a Chinese app. #France #FrenchCuisine #Bordeaux #Salmon
