Boston's little Thai food is really my favorite

đŸŒ¶ïž Boston Thai Food Rankings: My Top Picks (and a Few Letdowns) We’re obsessed with Thai food—like, “plan our week around new spots” obsessed. After trying dozens, here’s my personal ranking (plus a plea for more recommendations!): 🏅 My All-Time Favorite Anchan House of Thai Food: 5 stars, no contest. I was in such a rush eating here, I forgot to take photos—and that’s how good it is. Their Thai tea and all sauces are homemade, which makes everything taste unique: Thai Tea: Rich, fragrant, and not cloying—tea flavor shines through, no artificial sweetness. Satay (Meat Skewers): My boyfriend swears it’s identical to what he had in Malaysia. The coconut dip? Perfection—creamy, slightly tangy, and so good I wanted to drink it. đŸ„ˆ Close Seconds (Equally Amazing) Thai Bar Shi: 5 stars, innovative fusion. Think Thai flavors with a Japanese twist—dishes are beautiful, bold, and so creative. Just note: It’s rich, so sharing is key (you’ll get full fast). 9 Zaab Thai Street Food: 5 stars, cheap and cheerful. Even via delivery, the food stays fresh: Pad Thai: Classic, balanced, with the perfect noodle texture. Larb Pork Herby, spicy, and addictive—great with rice. Beef Stew: Tender meat, savory broth, and so comforting. Satay & Thai Tea: Same level as Anchan—consistently great. đŸ„‰ Solid, But Not Life-Changing Brown Sugar Cafe: 4 stars, a pleasant surprise. Nothing groundbreaking, but reliable—good for a casual meal when you’re in the area. ❌ The Letdown Dakzen: 3 stars, overhyped. Touted as “best Thai street food,” but it’s just
average. Noodles are tough, flavors are muted—save your money. 🌟 Bonus Fancy Spots Spice Sugar: Creative, upscale Thai with fun twists (great for dates). Crying Tiger: More traditional, local vibes—their “crying” dishes (spicy, herby) are iconic. If you’ve got other Thai spots to recommend, please share—I’m always hunting for the next great satay or tom yum. #BostonThaiRanking #ThaiFoodObsessed #FoodieRecs
