Boston | Food Around Harvard Square Vol.1 (Solid Picks)
I went into the city to volunteer on Sunday and decided to check out some food spots around Harvard Square. Documenting this here for anyone who might need references! 🗒️✨ 🍜 Le’s Vietnamese Restaurant Tucked away behind a famous photo booth in Cambridge 📸, this spot is in the same garage mall as the popular Kyus Haus mochi ice cream 🍦. It was super windy that day, and having a steaming bowl of Vietnamese pho brought me more satisfaction than I expected 💫! I’d been craving noodles and soup for a long time. If you happen to be feeling cold, I highly recommend it ❄️👉🍜. But if you're looking for something unique or one-of-a-kind, you can probably skip this one~ 🥣 I ordered a small bowl with beef tendon, tripe, and sliced beef (medium and large sizes available) 💰 $13 (pretty reasonable, and the price doesn’t change even with different offal options) 💵 🍧 SoBol I ended up here only because every other café was packed 👩, and this was the only place with an available table where I could do some work. SoBol specializes in açai bowls, smoothies, and other healthy light meals . I randomly ordered a smoothie—it was quite sweet, but honestly pretty tasty 😋! That said, I do have a sweet tooth and prefer my smoothies on the thicker side~ 🥤 Ube Granola Smoothie 💰 $9 (the price isn’t exactly appealing , but it felt justifiable since I needed the space) Overall, both spots were decent but not outstanding . They’re convenient options if you’re in the area regularly, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend them to visitors (unless you’re really craving one of these specifically) 🤷♀️. More food adventures to come! #StudentEats #FoodExploration #BostonLife #HarvardSquareEats #Pho #SmoothieBowls
