Boston | George Howell, I Really Don't Get It π
They say itβs the peak of specialty coffee in Boston, but the quality isβ¦ well, hard to describe π . First, I went to the newly opened branch on Newbury. The milk coffee made with dark roast beans had a bitter, messy taste β no roasted aroma, no latte art either π. Tried a pour-over Yemen bean too β too high in acidity, not really my thing π. At least the portion was generous βοΈ. Then on Thanksgiving Day, when other coffee shops were closed, the downtown location was still open. Gave it another try, but maybe because there were so many customers that day, the quality was still disappointing π. The Ethiopian Geisha was just okay, but the matcha latte actually tasted pretty good π΅π.
