Boston Chapter 7: A Palestinian Flavor Restaurant
With echoes of past and present lingering in the air ✨, I took my children along Massachusetts Avenue toward MIT. We made a special stop at a Palestinian restaurant. To our delight, we found a line forming outside the narrow entrance 👨👩👧👦, though waiting under the scorching sun was quite challenging 🌞. Apart from us, everyone in the queue was dressed in Middle Eastern attire—the women adorned with elegant headscarves 🧕. When we finally got a seat, we ended up ordering more than expected: a mixed vegetable salad with cheese and peppers 🥗, and an enhanced version of pancakes, wrapped like a scarf in thick honey 🫓. Watching the middle-aged female owner skillfully trim the leftover pancakes from other customers, saving the untouched parts ♻️, was a touching sight. Filled with deep blessings for the Palestinian people 🙏, we continued on our way with warmth in our hearts. #ForeignCuisineExperience #ATasteOfTheWorld #FoodKnowsNoBorders #CulturalExploration #BostonFoodDiary
