Boston Food | Allston Chinese Restaurant Red & Black List 🎉
#Yī Dié Chuān Cài (A Dish of Sichuan) Complimentary cold mung bean jelly – numbing, fragrant, spicy, and flavorful! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Fresh Pepper Frog Legs – Numbing and tasty, not too spicy, great with rice. Frog portion a bit small. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Stir-Fried Chicken Gizzards – Just okay, mostly numbing but not memorable. 🌟🌟 Vinegar Spicy Chicken – Sour and numbing, not great with rice. Good if you like crispy texture, but average. 🌟🌟 Wontons in Chili Oil – Loaded with spicy and numbing sauce, delicious! Better than other noodle dishes here. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Cauliflower with Bacon – Bland and disappointing ☹️ Not recommended. Little Tao ~ Super Tasty Chinese Spot Mao Xue Wang (Blood & Tofu Stew) – ABSOLUTELY AMAZING 🤯 The best I’ve had in Boston—fresh ingredients, full of flavor! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Mapo Tofu – So delicious and perfect with rice. Finished a whole bowl instantly! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Steamed Beef with Rice Flour – Tasty and well-seasoned. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Spicy Shrimp – Very average, unfortunately. Shrimp wasn’t fresh, and veins weren’t removed. Not recommended. Victoria Seafood – Cantonese/Hong Kong Style Pepper Salt Soft Shell Crab ($20.50) – Crispy, tender, and delicious! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 White Cut Chicken ($20.95) – Bland for spice-lovers; tastes like plain boiled chicken. Not recommended. Garlic Stir-Fried Choi Sum ($16.95) – Fresh, tasty, must-order greens! 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Beef Brisket in Chu Hou Sauce ($22.50) – Flavorful and great with rice. Only downside: more tendons than meat. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Shrimp with Cashew Nuts ($20.50) – Sweet and sour, well-cooked. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Mala Spice Mao Xue Wang ($26) – Gets better the longer it cooks! Starts mild but becomes spicier and more flavorful. 🌟🌟🌟 Fresh Pepper Lamb ($22) – Tender, not too spicy, goes great with rice. 🌟🌟🌟🌟 Shredded Potatoes – Sour and spicy, super addictive and perfect with rice! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Grilled Fish – Tasty and gives off Chinese street food vibes, but could be more flavorful if cooked longer. 🌟🌟🌟 Bang Bang Chicken ($13.86) – Tasty but not mind-blowing—easy to make at home. 🌟🌟🌟 #BostonEats #BostonLife #BostonFoodie #ChineseFood #StudentLife #FoodReview #AllstonEats
