Boston Food | This Georgian Restaurant Really Has Something Special!
đ Jana Grill I first learned about this place during a Georgian wine tasting classâit's the only Georgian restaurant in Boston, and I've been wanting to try it ever since. Cheese Boat with Egg đ§đ€ is insanely deliciousâno exaggeration at all! No wonder it's the national favorite. Warm, soft bread filled with creamy cheese and a runny egg... I'm practically drooling just typing about it đ€€ The appetizersâeggplant dip and cold lamb tongueâare both served with pita bread. Trying lamb tongue for the first time was a unique experience. As someone from southern China, I found the lamb flavor a bit strong, while my northern friend was like, "Huh? Lamb flavor? What lamb flavor?" and happily kept munching away⊠Tolma đ is made with grape leaves (similar to rice dumpling leaves) wrapped around a filling of meat, rice, and spices, served with yogurt for dipping. I've had something similar at a Persian restaurant before, but the flavors here are much milder and less overpowering. We also ordered one of their signature grilled meats đ„âthe aroma filled the whole restaurant while it was cooking! Served on warm flatbread with refreshing onions and pickles, it was a perfect match. Some of their specialty dishes require advance reservation. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere and offers a good selection of Georgian wines đ·. đ° About $55 per person (including tax and tip)âgood value for money! Iâll definitely be back. #BostonLife #BostonWeekend #StudentFoodExploration #HiddenGemRestaurant #BostonFood #BostonUniqueEats #BostonWatertown #BostonGeorgianCuisine
