🦞 Boston Lobster|Budget-Friendly Lobster Guide: $10 each!

📍 Location: Market Basket (Deli Section) 1️⃣ Take a number from the red machine. 2️⃣ Wait for your number to be called—specify whether you want it raw or cooked. 3️⃣ If cooked, wait about 10 minutes before pickup. The staff will weigh the lobster and confirm if you’re okay with the price. Larger ones may cost around $15. Prices here are super affordable! [Smirk] 🍦 Häagen-Dazs: 2 for $3, 4 for $5! The strawberry flavor is delicious 🤤. 🕘 Opening Hours: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM ⚠️ Saturdays = Discount Day! Snag lobsters for around $8 per pound—I got 2 for just $21 (avg. $10 each!) I traveled from Boston to another city just for these lobsters 🚆… Behind what might seem like a crazy lobster quest was my daily mantra: "I need to eat lobster!" 🦞 Since it’s a Boston icon, you can’t leave without trying it! Day 1: Charles River waterfront—restaurants were packed! No reservation? Wait time: 1 hour. Too late 😢. Day 2: Newbury Street—lobster spots looked close, but a meal would’ve cost around $100… I semi-panicked in front of my friends: "Will not eating lobster become my biggest regret in Boston?!" Finally, on the last day—I rushed to Somerville with one goal: I! WANT! LOBSTER! 🦞💨 Took a number, waited in line, and scored two lobsters 😻. Ten minutes later—I finally ate lobster! I enjoyed one lobster on the spot and saved the other for later 🦞👌. With fresh fruit and my long-awaited lobster feast, it was perfect! Funny enough, I even convinced local students (who’d been here for years) to try it—they loved it too! In the end, we joked that Chinese students are truly citizens of the world—you can even find them in Antarctica! ❄️ Boston has so many Chinese people. “Are you Chinese?” “Yes!” “Then we can speak Mandarin!” 😆 So much joy—strolling through unfamiliar streets, hitting 20,000+ steps daily, admiring architecture, listening to conversations, and feeling the cool breeze 🌳🍃. Traveling truly opens your eyes and heart! I just really, really wanted Boston lobster—so what?! 😤 Haha, I always find the weirdest things to obsess over (・᷄ὢ・᷅)… my bad! Boston Public Garden is gorgeous! I went twice—my favorite thing was watching the ducks 🦆. One duck even eyed my fruit greedily! I said, "I cannot feed you, I’m sorry!" The duck froze for a moment, then waddled away sassily—but kept looking back! 😂 Sorry, Miss Duck—it’s not that I didn’t want to share, but the park signs say: “Do not feed the wildlife!” Why “Miss Duck”? Based on my expert duck-judging skills, round eyes = female 😌. #Boston #BostonLobster #TravelTips
