Boston Skewers & Pork Knuckle Pot — Irresistibly Delicious!
Can't get enough... [Fangyuan Cubist Circle · Brookline] These three new dishes are seriously delicious! Pure Shandong-style flavors—seems like the owner has completely "locked away" any Sichuan R&D for now 😄 🔥 Fried Skewers are absolutely incredible!! I've been craving them ever since "88" closed 🙏🏻 Compared to before, Fangyuan's version is cleaner and more flavorful, leaning toward a northern taste—lighter on the sauce, more focused on dry aroma! The owner said it's a recreation of the Qingdao-style fried skewers he ate as a child. Since making individual skewers was too much work, they just serve them in a bowl 😅 Rough estimate: each bowl has at least 4–5 chicken skewers, 2–3 pieces of thousand-layer tofu, and 2–3 cabbage skewers... all for just $12, feels like a steal! 💰 🍲 Braised Pork Knuckle Pot is insanely fragrant—hints of stir-fried chicken seasoning in there, super rich and savory! The pork knuckle is cleaned well, not greasy at all, packed with collagen. Even the glass noodles inside soak up all that delicious sauce. 👏 🍆 Shrimp-Stuffed Eggplant Box comes with yuxiang (fish-fragrant) sauce and a whole shrimp inside each piece! Gotta eat it while it's hot and crispy. The filling is perfectly balanced—flavorful without being greasy, and it goes so well with rice! 🍚 ⚠️ Their portions are still huge... We wanted to try multiple dishes, but couldn't finish even one and ended up taking everything home for another meal or two 😂 Better to come with a group or take leftovers home to enjoy again! #BostonFood #FriedSkewers #BraisedPorkKnuckle #EggplantBox #BostonLife
