Jay Chou's favorite, ELK Espresso 📍 Shop G044 Oasis Shopping Centre, 12 Victoria Ave, Broadbeach QLD 4218 I went there with high expectations, after all, it's my idol's favorite spot. However, the experience didn't live up to the hype. The hash wasn't as amazing as rumored, but it was still decent, not bad. The place was extremely crowded; if you go late, you'll have to wait in line. The store's decoration style is quite nice, though. If there's a seat available, I recommend sitting outdoors. Just across the road is Broadbeach, so the location is really good. A surprisingly delightful find! ‼️ Commune Cafe 📍 1844 Gold Coast Hwy, Burleigh Heads QLD 4220 It doesn't have the same old repetitive menu! ‼️ Even ordering blindly brings surprises. The grilled fish taco is really worth a try. Moreover, the staff are very attentive. When they saw Leo throwing a tantrum, they immediately brought over a cup of sweet and delicious hot chocolate. As soon as Leo saw the chocolate, he forgot all about his bad mood. Let's just say the boss knows how to run a business 😌😌. The environment is also nice, with half of the seats being outdoors. The only downside is that there are quite a lot of flies, which is really annoying. I told them about the outdoor tabletop fly repeller from Bunnings, and they got excited, saying it's a good idea. Hope to see it there next time I visit 😂. A place passed by on the way to Miami Beach The Oxley 1823 Atrium 📍 17 Lavarack Rd, Mermaid Beach QLD 4218 The decoration here is so appealing that you can't help but stop when you pass by. It's simply my dream store, so chill ‼️ The whole store is all about being spacious and bright. It was a cloudy day, about to rain, and I'd been walking around all day, exhausted like a dog 🐶. When I saw the sofa seats by the floor-to-ceiling windows with no blind spots, and felt the cool breeze, I couldn't move and had to go in for a couple of drinks 😂. Actually, this is a small gourmet grocery store with several small restaurants. You buy what you like to eat, then sit in the common area, and the staff will bring it to you.
