Buffalo: A City of History
✅What kind of city is Buffalo? Every brick and tile in its downtown seems to tell the story of its glorious past, yet the quiet streets on a Saturday and the empty storefronts make it clear that the city now faces decline. ✅Anchor Bar was the highlight of this trip—the birthplace of the Buffalo chicken wing. 🔶Buffalo Naval Park turned out to be the most fun part of the day. With two decommissioned warships and a submarine, you can follow the marked paths to explore inside the vessels. I found it really interesting. 🔶City Hall & Lafayette Square are great for photos. City Hall is truly magnificent. 🍃I heard there’s an observation deck on the top floor, but since it was Saturday, the building was closed, so we couldn’t go in. 🍃The surrounding area also features some architecturally distinctive buildings. We also took a leisurely stroll around Lafayette Square. 💫Trader Joe’s—I’ve always envied my friends in the U.S. for shopping here, so of course I had to go. Interestingly, it was bustling with activity, a sharp contrast to the quiet emptiness of downtown. #Buffalo #ChickenWings #LifeInTheUS
