Burlington Town Sunset Walk💜 + Restaurant Warning ⚠️
Burlington Town Sunset Walk💜 + Restaurant Warning ⚠️ #HolidayCityWalk Strolling through Burlington’s lakeside town after cherry blossom viewing is so😌! The townsfolk are super friendly—total mood lifter~ While looking for a street parking spot, a local opened their car door (no idea if the window was broken or they were just in a hurry😂) and yelled, “No payment needed on weekend nights!” Having gotten used to Toronto’s chill, this warmth caught me off guard in the best way. People by the lake were nice too, striking up casual chats—such a cozy vibe~ Sunset was absolutely stunning💜, painting the lake in pink and purple hues, sparkly like scattered diamonds. Every photo looks like a romantic postcard~ BUT! The random restaurant we picked, Prime Steak+Raw Bar, ruined the good mood! Terrible food, overpriced, major disappointment💣! Walked in at 8 PM, waited until 9:30 for food—by then the place was empty. We finished after 10 PM, the town was deserted, the lake dark, so we had to rush back to Toronto. Such a mood killer! 🍣Sushi: The waiter outright admitted it was pre-made! Tasted worse than food court—rice was gluey like it sat in a pot for a week, fish fell apart when picked up. For a seafood-focused spot, this is unacceptable?? 🥩Dry aged steak: Edible, but that’s it. It’s hard to mess up this style… Their “unique serving method” didn’t feel special at all~ As compensation, the manager gave us complimentary bread (yes, it’s normally paid) and lava cake, but that couldn’t save the meal! All the joy from cherry blossoms was crushed by this dinner—so frustrating😤! Other nearby restaurants look good, so think twice before picking this one! #TorontoLife#TorontoFood#BurlingtonFood#TorontoDayTrips#TorontoRestaurantWarning#BurlingtonWalk#TorontoSunset
