California Sunshine βοΈ & Jelly Lake β Tahoe Escape
Early autumn in Lake Tahoe is pure therapy πβ¨. It has everything you could want for a relaxing getaway: sparkling sunshine, crystal-clear water, and perfect weather. Enjoy a lakeside picnic or BBQ with friends, take a dip in the water, or cruise along the scenic highway with the windows down β it doesnβt get better than this! We did a 3-day, 2-night trip β left after work on Friday from the Bay Area and returned Sunday afternoon. π Stay in South Lake Tahoe β the most hotels, restaurants, and activities nearby! π Emerald Bay: The lookout is right by the parking lot β enjoy panoramic views of the bay and the little island in the center ποΈ. π Sugar Pine Point State Park: The most beautiful state park on the west shore! Must-visit for those jelly-like waters and mountain views ποΈ. The lakeside pier is super photogenic πΈ. π Sand Harbor: Weekend mornings require reservations! ππ¨ No reservation? Risk no parking! This spot has sandy beaches, lakeside trails, and arguably Tahoeβs prettiest views β gradient blue-green water and unique rock formations π. π Secret Nude Cove: The famous clothing-optional beach π. We didnβt go all the way down but still caught stunning water views from above. And no, we didnβt see any blonde sunbathing models π«£ (maybe next time!). #LakeTahoe #CaliforniaTravel #BayAreaLife #TravelGuide #WeekendGetaway #AutumnVibes
