Specifically craving Cantonese food again. Ended up ordering the beloved BBQ meats I’ve been dreaming of. I’ve had this place’s BBQ meats over five times here in SD. The flavor is even better than some dim sum spots. This time, we just ordered three dishes~ 🦆 Hong Kong-style Roast Duck The roast duck is rich, flavorful, and perfectly fatty. The braising sauce drizzled over the rice is so aromatic. Don’t forget to ask for plum sauce! It balances the flavor and makes it even tastier. 🐓 Zhongshan Soy Sauce Chicken I really like white cut chicken, steamed chicken, and soy sauce chicken. The flavors range from light to savory, in that order. You can choose based on your preference. (White cut chicken must be paired with ginger-scallion sauce❗) 🐖 Pickled Mustard Greens with Pork Intestines The braised intestines are stir-fried until the oil and juices are absorbed by the pickled veggies. The light tangy aroma and the unique taste of the intestines👅 So perfect with rice.
