Celebrating My Birthday at Dior Café
✨Two days before my birthday, I saw someone share their experience at Dior Café and impulsively tried to make a reservation on their website. Of course, there were no available seats. But I noticed a "reservation request" feature on the site and decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, I received a confirmation email the next day saying my reservation was successful. 🚩To sum up, it's definitely worth visiting once. Every dish looks beautiful, but the taste didn't leave much of an impression after I finished eating. So, it might not be necessary to go a second time. 🌟The café is located on the second floor of the Dior store. When you enter and go upstairs, you'll find it's a small space. There are two large window-side sofa tables that can seat 5–6 people, and the rest are small tables perfect for 2–4 friends to catch up. Make sure to dress up nicely! I didn't even have time to do my makeup before heading there, and I realized that all the other women were so elegantly dressed. 🥰For the appetizer, I ordered the yellowtail sashimi with special seasoning, which was the best dish of all. I also tried a chicken soup, which was served tableside. When the waiter poured it, I thought to myself, "What am I doing spending $30 on this?" (Hahaha.) ♨️For the main course, we went with the salmon and pasta recommended by the waiter. The pasta is definitely worth trying. It's said to be custom-made in Brazil, with each piece having vibrant colors like a piece of art. It's topped with mussels and seasoned with curry elements, making it the most unique dish we ordered. 🍓For dessert, we tried three out of the four options. The one on the cover of the menu was the first one we chose because it looked so beautiful and perfect for photos. We also ordered two others with Dior's signature tartan pattern. One was jasmine-flavored ice cream, which reminded me of drinking Molly in New York. You can decide for yourselves. (Hahaha.) The other one was called "bride," which had a beautiful name but could have been made a bit more puff-like to look even better. #Dallas #DallasFood
