Tried the Hawaiian-Style Food Truck in Dallas!

🫣I found a food truck in Dallas that serves the same kind of fried shrimp you'd find in Hawaii! It's like a Hawaiian food truck experience right here. I ordered the Sampler, which lets you choose three different flavors. I picked Coco, Sweet & Spicy, and Garlic Butter. 🌟The Coco and Sweet & Spicy shrimp are both coated with coconut flakes and fried to a crispy texture. The Sweet & Spicy version has a sauce that's quite sweet and salty. The Garlic Butter shrimp are more lightly seasoned, with a refreshing pan-fried flavor. The garlic isn't overpowering, and the shrimp are cooked very tender. 🍤The rice is mixed with butter and is quite fragrant, though the portion is really large... I also recommend getting the coconut oil-grilled bread on the side. It's tangy, sweet, and has a nice coconut aroma. My boyfriend ordered the sampler, which lets you choose three flavors (coconut, sweet & spicy, lemon herb). I tried the coconut and sweet & spicy, and they were both delicious. The best part was the rice—it was so fragrant, cooked with butter, and the portion was huge for just $10/$11. After eating it today, I already want to come back tomorrow! 😂🥰🫣 Coco Shrimp 1240 E Belt Line Rd, Richardson, TX 75081 #DallasFood #DallasLife #WeekendEats
