Just tried Charkor Guyโs Korean BBQ โ a fairly new spot thatโs already making waves! My Korean friend and I agreed: it totally outshines the longtime favorite, 9292. ๐ We went for the Beef Combo for Two, and wow โ the quality and quantity were impressive! The beef was beautifully marbled, fresh, and full of rich flavor. ๐ฅฉ๐ซ But hereโs the real deal: the side dishes alone couldโve been a full meal! Weโre talking steamed egg, stir-fried tteokbokki, fresh salad, creamy corn cheese, Korean-style beef patties, plus all the classic banchan. So much variety, so much goodness! ๐ฅ๐ง๐ฅ And as a sweet final touch โ they served Melona ice cream ๐๐ฆ after the meal! A refreshing and nostalgic finish. The only letdown? The beef tartare (yikes ๐ฌ). The meat wasnโt fully thawed, and the seasoning was seriously lacking. Doesnโt even come close to Cow Wowโs version. Overall? A fantastic experience with just one small miss.
