Charleston, SC | 2-Day 1-Night Travel Guide

📍 Charleston It’s so much fun—and even better for a girls’ trip! Every spot is beautiful and perfect for photos, the food is delicious, and the streets are clean. As someone who’s lived in the Eastern US for years, I was totally charmed by Charleston’s French-inspired vibe 😍. 🐶 Key Perk! Pet-Friendly This city is super pet-friendly—I’ll definitely want to come back with my dog next time 🐕! 🏨 Accommodation: The Emeline 5-star rating all the way! The rooms are spacious and new, and the hotel itself is incredibly photogenic. It even has its own café and restaurant on-site. Valet parking is convenient too—you can get your car anytime you need it. Best of all, it’s right next to the city’s biggest market (a must-visit! 🛍️). 🍽️ Food Recommendations 1️⃣ Chez Nous (French Cuisine): They have a handwritten menu that changes daily—reservations are required 📝. 2️⃣ Pineapple Hut: Their pineapple ice cream is delicious and refreshing 🍍—a perfect sweet treat! 3️⃣ 167 Oyster Bar: Great for oysters and lobster rolls. They have a happy hour, so timing your visit right saves you money 🍤. 4️⃣ Husk Charleston: Upscale Southern fine dining—reservations are a must for this popular spot. 5️⃣ Callie‘s Hot Little Biscuit: Located inside the market. Go early—they sell out fast! Their biscuits are warm, flaky, and totally worth it 🥞. 🌲 Things to Do & See 1️⃣ Pineapple Fountain: A classic photo op—stop by for a quick snap to mark your visit 🍍⛲. 2️⃣ Rainbow Row: So many couples were taking wedding photos here! The pastel-colored houses are gorgeous and never feel gaudy 🏠. 3️⃣ Cypress Garden (Boating from The Notebook): ⚠️ Critical Tip: Go RIGHT when it opens! Otherwise, you’ll wait at least 2 hours in line. The scenery is breathtaking—one loop takes about 1 hour. The boats are wooden and a bit heavy to paddle, but it’s totally worth it. 🐊 P.S. Alligators might be spotted nearby—keep an eye out! 4️⃣ Middleton Place (Filming Location for Gone with the Wind): The beauty here blew me away! The plantation, gardens, mirror-like lake, flowers, and ancient trees—every corner made me stop and say “wow” 🌳. 5️⃣ Charleston City Market: Filled with small stalls selling handcrafts. It’s the perfect place to buy souvenirs like fridge magnets, landmark-shaped candles, and butterfly specimens—prices are very reasonable. 6️⃣ Church Street: No need to go out of your way—churches are everywhere along the streets. Just enjoy them as you wander 🛕. After visiting Charleston, it’s only a 2-hour drive to Savannah—perfect for extending your trip! #RecordingRomanticLife #MyCasualShots #HiddenGems #SouthCarolina #Columbia #OffTheBeatenPathCheckIn #UniquePhotoSpots
