Charlotte, NC | Curry Junction š
Hey everyone! Today Iām hyping up:The most amazing Indonesian curry Iāve ever had!!!Itās in Arboretum, right next to the Malaysian Hainanese chicken place. My husband and I always get the first curry on the menu (cilantro flavor shines bright šæ) and the third one, korma (creamy coconut milk curry). We always pick lambāitās tender, not gamey, and so satisfying. (He says goat is better, but itās bone-in with less meat⦠not enough for us! š) Other dishes weāve tried: Curry Naan: Itās on the firmer side. Iām more into soft, fluffy naan, but my husband thinks theirs is incredibleādefinitely worth ordering. Tandoori Chicken: Marinated in that classic red sauce. Had it ages ago, so details are fuzzy, but it was just āokay.ā Iām a crispy fried chicken fanatic, so no reorders for me!šš Dum Biryani: Lamb fried rice with massive portionsādelicious! They pile on the lamb, so we get it again when weāre with a group. Why Iām obsessed:š Taste: Insanely rich, bold spicesāso fragrant it makes your mouth water. Portions: That āsmallā bowl? Itās bottomless! $20 feeds me at least 3 meals (admittedly, I have a tiny bird-like appetite š¦). They give free bottled ice waterāsuch a nice touch! Spice levels: Customizable! Wimps who love a little kick? Go 3. Spice lovers? Start at 4. (Fair warning: Their spice game is inconsistentāsometimes 3 is mild, sometimes 4 has me sweating and squealing š.) Vibes: Super clean, and the service is so friendly. If you try it and love it, come back and give me a likeāthanks! #CharlotteNC #CharlotteRestaurants #FoodieFinds #UNCC #CharlotteEats #NoMoreFoodDesert
