🍜 Charlotte Food Guide Vol. 2 – Must-Try Eats in the Queen City! 🍴
Finally kicking my laziness to bring you Part 2 of my Charlotte food adventures! Here are some local favorites you won’t want to miss: 🇯🇵 Futo Buta A popular ramen spot — so popular that parking on weekends is a nightmare! 🚗💨 Must-order: Spicy Shoyu Ramen + Karaage Chicken. 🏙️ RH Rooftop Restaurant Upscale dining with a gorgeous circular balcony and chic vibes. The $70 steak is worth every penny — so flavorful! Also try their sautéed mushrooms. Salmon was decent but not the star. 🍣 Yunta A trendy new spot blending Japanese, Mediterranean, and American flavors. Highlights: Nigiri Gratin (baked shrimp sushi) & their signature ceviche. 🇻🇳 Pho Hoa A budget-friendly pho joint — bowls start around $20! All pho varieties are solid, but don’t skip the fried quail 🍗 + Vietnamese iced coffee ☕. 🧁 Amelie’s French Bakery A rare not-too-sweet bakery in Charlotte! Tarts are amazing (peach tart = my fave), but chocolate items can still be sugary. Go early — they sell out fast! 🍳 Snooze AM Eatery The brunch spot with 2-hour weekend waits — but prices are fair! Try the OMG French Toast — drizzled with condensed milk and powdered sugar 😋. 🥩 Iron Dish An AYCE Korean BBQ alternative to Let’s Meat. Less crowded, nicer vibe, equally tasty! Great when you want KBBQ without the crazy line. 🍗 Tupelo Honey Classic Southern comfort food — you can’t go wrong with fried chicken & grits. Also recommend the blackened mahi mahi. (Yes, it’s a chain — available in other NC cities too!) 🥢 Open Rice Hallelujah — the 4th decent Chinese restaurant I’ve found in Charlotte! 😭 Specializes in Cantonese cuisine: roast duck & beef chow fun are my go-tos. They also sell egg waffles — perfect for afternoon tea 🧇. 🎉 That’s all for now — stay tuned for Vol. 3!
